The COLUMBIA POLICE ASSOCIATION of Nassau County is a fraternal organization within the department consisting of law enforcement personnel of Italian-American Heritage who are dedicated to:
Promoting and developing a friendly and fraternal spirit among all Police Departments and/or Agencies within Nassau County and enlist and secure as members of this association those members of Police Departments and/or Agencies within the County of Nassau, either uniformed or civilian, and active or retired, who are of Italian descent or married to someone who is of Italian descent.
Developing an understanding of the contributions made by Italians and Italian-Americans toward the development of the United States of America.
Increasing our understanding and knowledge of the cultural heritage that unites the membership of this association and promote a positive focus on cultural, educational, and charitable endeavors.
Continuing in a proud spirit to promote and develop a friendly and fraternal spirit among Italo-American Police Officers in Nassau County.
Developing and participating in various fundraising events/activities for the purpose of scholarship funds and supporting fellow fraternal law enforcement organizations recognized by the association.
