Salvatore A. Lecci is no stranger to the Columbia Police Association. Sal is an honorary civilian member and serves as the association's attorney. Sal, a resident of Oyster Bay, is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association and practices out of his office in Mineola .
Sal is a former assistant professor at St. John's University . He is a former assistant member of the Board of Law Examiners for the State of New York . Sal was also the secretary for the re-election campaign of Superior Court Judge Howard E. Levitt. He was also co-chairman of the re-election committee for County Court Judge Stuart Ain. Sal has been a member of the Columbia Police Association for the past 26 years. He has donated much of his valuable time in taking care of the legal affairs of the association. Sal was also on the By-Law committee and was instrumental in helping to revise and update the Association's By-Laws. Sal is also the attorney for the Retired Police Association.
